MinSU STC4iD completes 5th SL Training on Vegetable Production for Mangyan, Next focus: plant propagation

Mindoro State University (MinSU) successfully conducted the 5th and final batch of the Season-Long (SL) Training on Agricultural Production on May 2, 2025, at Sitio Liguma, Barangay Lisap, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro.

This activity completes the series of trainings on pakbet vegetable production for five (5) Mangyan communities under the MinSU-STC4iD Project, supported by DOST-PCAARRD. The training aims to help Indigenous Peoples improve their farming practices and promote sustainable agriculture.

With the vegetable training phase now completed, the next series of trainings will shift focus from vegetable production to Plant Propagation, where participants will be introduced to various techniques such as seed sowing, grafting, marcotting, and other methods to help them enhance crop diversity and improve farm productivity.
