Founding as a Trade School
A modest trade school opened in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro — offering vocational and technical courses to the growing community.
Calapan Farm School
Reorganized into a farm school, shifting focus to agricultural education for the province’s farming economy.
Mindoro Farm School
Renamed and expanded to serve a wider constituency across the island with broader agricultural programs.
Mindoro National Agricultural School
Elevated to MNAS, offering more comprehensive agricultural education programs to the province.
Mindoro National Agricultural College
Converted into a college — began offering degree programs in agriculture and related fields.
MINSCAT Established
Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology (MINSCAT) was born, integrating multiple campuses province-wide.
Expansion & Modernization
Major expansion of facilities and academic programs, with strengthened research and extension capabilities.
Mindoro State University
