Mindoro State University has officially launched its Smart Classroom Initiative, equipping classrooms across all seven campuses with state-of-the-art ICT infrastructure. The project includes 75-inch interactive touch displays, high-speed fiber-optic internet connectivity, digital podiums, and integrated audio-visual systems.
A total of 120 classrooms have been upgraded in the first phase, with an additional 80 classrooms scheduled for completion by the end of the academic year. Each smart classroom is equipped with MinSU's custom Learning Management System (LMS) and supports hybrid learning modalities.
The PHP 150 million project is funded through the university's Special Trust Fund and a grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). Faculty members have undergone training on utilizing the new technology for effective instruction.
