Mindoro State University officially inaugurated its new Library and Learning Resource Center at the Main Campus in a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by University President Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol and CHED Commissioner Dr. Aldrin Magtalas.
The three-story facility spans 2,500 square meters and features a modern digital archive system, collaborative workspaces, individual study carrels, a multimedia center with 50 computer terminals, and a makerspace for student innovation projects. The library houses over 45,000 volumes and provides access to international e-journal databases including JSTOR, Scopus, and ScienceDirect.
The project was funded through a PHP 85 million allocation from the Department of Budget and Management and was constructed over 18 months. The facility is expected to serve over 10,000 students across all campuses through its online catalog and digital resources.
