The MinSU Sportsfest 2026 officially opens on April 14 with a grand parade of athletes and opening ceremony at the University Athletic Field.
Six colleges will compete in 12 sporting events including basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, track and field, swimming, and futsal. New this year are e-sports (Mobile Legends and Valorant) and dance sports competitions.
The opening ceremony features the parade of athletes, oath of sportsmanship, lighting of the torch, and exhibition matches. The sports competition will run from April 14-18, with the championship games and closing ceremony on April 18.
All students are encouraged to support their respective colleges. The winning college will receive the Overall Championship Trophy and a cash prize.
