In celebration of National Science and Technology Week, Mindoro State University’s colleges of Engineering, Arts and Sciences, and Information Technology will jointly host a series of activities from March 15-19, 2026.
Activities include student research paper presentations, a regional science quiz bee, robotics demonstrations, a coding hackathon, and interactive science exhibits open to the public. Guest lecturers from DOST-MIMAROPA will discuss emerging technologies and research funding opportunities.
The highlight of the week is the Innovation Showcase, where student teams will present prototypes of their capstone projects, including IoT devices, mobile applications, and engineering solutions for local community problems.
High school students from partner schools in Oriental Mindoro are also invited to participate in the Junior Science Fair component of the celebration.
